Books from my July 12 batch
I love listening to books while working in the chocolate lab. Some like to listen to music or podcasts but books are my friends and between the library and a couple of subscriptions I have a wide spread of stories available. I just love it.
So once in a while, I’ll try to find the time to share with you what accompanied me while producing that batch you are now eating.
I’ll keep it simple and won’t try to summarize the books, as you can always go find a better description online. But I will make sure to share if it was, in my personal humble opinion, good company, just ok or if I was ready to drop it. The latter does not happen often as I do a pre-selection or get recommendations from my friends.
For now, I’ll keep the comments off as it would be too much work to monitor but feel free to send me questions or comments. I’ll be happy to get back to you.
The Attic child by Lola Jaye Thumbs Up - the story will stick and I enjoyed the historical part of it
Invisible Women by Caroline Criado-Perez Lots of stats so not always easy to listen but many true facts still to date. It was worth listening to it imho.
Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano Slow start on a tough theme but finished it and did not regret it
YEP - I do listen non-stop (pretty much) and sometimes at a faster speed (Dear Edward) !
